Servant -- Principle verse of this
chapter.
Essentially the study of a "Servant" is the study of greatness in a
person’s character. The calling of a servant is universal to all human life.
It is one of the traits that separate us from the animals; animals are rarely
seen in nature serving other animals. Everyone is called to be a servant; even God is a servant.
If you desire to serve God, you are big in His eyes.

Lk 19,19-22
· (2d)
Responsible to avoid offending God Ø Keeping
your commitments Ø Complete God’s calling in
your ministry as Christ did – I’m afraid God takes this life and
our own lives more seriously than we do. We are loosing so many rewards by not
being diligent about serving God with all our hearts. Nevertheless, I
understand partly why we as a church and as a people are so disconnected from
everything in this society in which we live, and I think God also understands.
We are trapped in a world that hinders us from serving God in an effective
way, and the church also collectively feels everything that the members do. I
believe that the church today is that wicked, lazy slave, but I also believe
that if we were to become united, this would change. I think there is a ball
of fire brewing in the bellies of the people who are floundering in their
attempts to serve God, and that after God sets up the circumstances to benefit
the church instead of the world, we will become the dominant force on this
planet for God’s sake and for goodness sake, and evil will at last be
thwarted.
