Chapter
5: Marriage
Supper of the Lamb
Let’s rejoice and be exceedingly glad, and let’s give the glory to him. For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his wife has made herself ready.” It was given to her that she would array herself in bright, pure, fine linen, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. He said to me, “Write, ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb.’” He said to me, “These are true words of God.” – Rev 19,7-9 Man has a soul, making him unique to anything else, and he also has a body; then the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in the believer, making him complete: body, soul and Spirit (Col 2-10). In contrast, when the Father conceived Jesus in Mary’s womb, He placed the Holy Spirit in her, so that the identity of Christ is in fact the Holy Spirit (Mat 1,18-20). This means that Jesus doesn't have a soul; He only has a Spirit; so when Jesus was born, he had a body from the contribution of His mother, and He had the Holy Spirit from the contribution of His Father, but He had no soul. We were born with a human soul as our identity, which makes us unique from all others, but to have the indwelling Holy Spirit we must be born-again. Jesus didn't have to be born-again, because He was the Holy Spirit born in human flesh, but He doesn’t have a soul of His own, so He borrows the collective spirit of the Church in unity and uses them as His soul. That is, God completed us before He completed Himself, meaning that in the process of completing Himself, we are in Christ. This is what the celebration of the Marriage Supper of the Lamb represents: the completion of God, the formal ceremony of Christ taking on the soul of His Church and using it as His own.
Jesus lived for about 33 years, and at the end of His life He was crucified. Three days later the Father raised Him from the dead, and He ascended to heaven, having become human, not just for 33 years but for all time! However, He has still only a body and a Spirit. When Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to dwell in those who would believe in Him for eternal life, He completed those who were born-again, billions of them throughout the ages. To be “in Christ” is a biblical term that means we offer ourselves an aspect of Jesus’ soul. In the First Century there was unity; it says they were always together, and they loved one another; they took their meals together and integrated into each other’s lives. Jesus dwells in our unity, which acts as a collective soul, consisting of all Christians who have become one soul in Christ. That is, our unity completes the Lord, and for this reason Jesus prayed for unity in His High Priestly Prayer (John chapter 17).
In heaven, when all His people are finally assembled, we will understand the truth together, and we will worship God, and Christ will dwell in our worship; He is in us as we are in Him, God and man integrated to become one Spirit in Him (1Cor 6-16,17). This defines the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, which is scheduled to occur immediately after the First Resurrection, after emptying every grave that had a saint in it, those who died at sea, and those who were cremated. What was missing of their bodies God supplied from the earth. Then He Raptured all who were still alive and remained, who belonged to Him and gathered them in the clouds as one flock with one Shepherd and took them to celebrate the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in the New Jerusalem. During that time, the bowls of God’s fierce wrath pounded the earth for an unspecified time. A banquette was prepared, and everyone took their assigned seats, and Jesus stood in their midst on a high and holy hill and there spoke to His people who were all weeping with joy, and they were gathered together for the first time. There was a great roar of applause in heaven with God, His angels and the Church, singing in celebration in victory over sin and death, and Jesus continued weeping and the saints gushed with joy in their salvation, and the banquette radiated with the glory of God. He shined like the sun around His people, and they glorified Him for the love, joy and peace they knew in Him. The cherubim and seraphim also worshipped God crying, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come!” (Rev 4-8). They are unique creatures, their numbers few. None look like them or worships God so thoroughly, and they hold a close position with the Father, at His very throne. They stood above the rest of creation as wheels within a wheel, their unique shape and form representing the trinity, the Holy Spirit dwelling in His people, the people dwelling in Christ and Christ dwelling in the Father, and the wheels signifying the endless cycles of life. The living creatures understood the trinity; they had eyes covering their bodies, and they were continually surveying their surroundings. Nothing evaded their notice, as though God’s throne needed guarding from intruders. They would have seen them coming from miles away, not to mention the Father’s foreknowledge alerting Him millennia before the arrival of any would-be intruder. The living creatures acted as an added tier of security for the inhabitants of heaven, who felt more comfortable that someone was watching over them. God doesn’t need help, but He delegates authority to His creation, so all understand that the kingdom they are building belongs to everyone.
The Father joyfully sat on His glorious throne taking in all the activities of heaven, like a proud father would contently sit in his chair and overlook his house filled with children. His creation is a reflection of Himself in that He appears as a man, and He also resembles the angels, also the cherubim and seraphim. His appearance changes to accommodate His emotions. To His chosen ones He is the most beautiful person they will ever see, but to the wicked He is the most fearsome of all. For this reason whenever He visited mankind on earth he enveloped Himself in smoke and fire, so the people could not see His countenance, for if they ever saw His face while steeped in their sins, they would be frightened to death.
Nothing escaped His notice; He knew all the events that were taking place on earth, while overseeing the marriage ceremony happening in heaven. It was intuitive by looking at Him that He was the epitome of wisdom; Jason was confident that the Father instinctively would know what to do in any situation. Although He was seated on a highly exalted throne, He Himself personally looked unassuming. You wouldn't know by looking at Him that He was the cause and creator of all things. Jason looked at Him for a long time trying to understand what he was seeing; it was as though his eyes were playing tricks on him; something seemed out of place, and then it dawned on him: he was conflicted between what he saw and what he expected to see. He expected to see a God full of emotion and drama ruling and reigning with His eyes, but what He saw was the humblest person in heaven. His humility made Him look small and out of place sitting on God's throne. He had delegated every drop of authority to His Son, and Jesus was very careful not to take any of the credit for Himself, but always passed the glory to His Father, for without Him Jesus could do nothing. That made Jason stare at the Father even longer. Then a thought occurred to Him, 'Maybe the Father's humility had something to do with Lucifer attempting to take God's throne; maybe Lucifer erroneously mistook the Father's humility for weakness.'
The Father in all His splendor rose from His glorious throne and stood beside His Son and walked Him through the sea of people, who collectively was His bride to be. He wasn't marrying any one of them but all of them in unity, the quality that made the countless multitude a single person, and the angels witnessed the event. The Father led His Son down the isle of people and reached the end of the procession and then spoke to the people in the hearing of the holy angels, "My Son and I have literally waited an eternity for this moment. He shed His blood for you in hope that this day would come. Here we stand together, just as we envisioned, with all of you present, who have been cleansed by His blood, and you have been made worthy to be here. It was the cross of Christ that has made this day possible, let there be no mistake. You are mine; I knew you from eternity past and am giving you to My Son and My Son to you. I want to remind you of My Son's prayer that He asked of Me while you were still in the world, an appropriate prayer for a wedding such as this:"
“Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may also glorify you; even as you gave him authority over all flesh, so he will give eternal life to all whom you have given him. This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ. I glorified you on the earth. I have accomplished the work which you have given me to do. Now, Father, glorify me with your own self with the glory which I had with you before the world existed. “I revealed your name to the people whom you have given me out of the world. They were yours, and you have given them to me. They have kept your word. Now they have known that all things whatever you have given me are from you, for the words which you have given me I have given to them; and they received them, and knew for sure that I came from you. They have believed that you sent me. I pray for them. I don’t pray for the world, but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours. All things that are mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them. Holy Father, keep them through your name which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one, that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us. The glory which you have given me, I have given to them, that they may be one, even as we are one, I in them, and you in me, that they may be perfected in unity, that the world may know that you sent me and loved them, even as you loved me. Father, I desire that they also whom you have given me be with me where I am, that they may see my glory which you have given me, for you loved me before the foundation of the world. Righteous Father, the world hasn’t known you, but I knew you; and these knew that you sent me. I made known to them your name, and will make it known; that the love with which you loved me may be in them, and I in them.” (Read the gospel of John chapter 17.)
After reading the prayer that Jesus prayed before His crucifixion, while still living in the flesh, the Father spoke again, "Now you see that My precious Son had been thinking about this day from eternity past, according to His prayer. This is how much this day means to Him and to Me, and I know it means a lot to you. However, when you were in the world you didn't see it, and I wanted so earnestly for you to see it through a state of unity, but so many of you would not. Today is a new day, though. You have received new bodies that cannot sin, and you are cleansed in spirit from your disobedience and unbelief, and from all the false teachings and doctrines that accumulated over the centuries that Satan shoved down your throat, so you would not long for this day. Today, this eternal day, I give you My Son in marriage. I do not give Him to any one of you but to you all, jointly, you who are many members but one body, you who love Me and My Son and each other, whose love binds you together as one. I give Him to your unity, you who collectively are the bride of Christ. May you be fruitful and multiply!"
The
entire assembly erupted in joyous celebration that lasted for weeks. Once
the marriage ceremony ended, Jesus
spoke to His people for the first time when they were all physically together and said, “Welcome to My Father’s house!” (Mat 8-11,12). Another festive cheer
erupted in the
people that didn’t settle for days. Eventually Jesus motioned with His hand
and continued, “When you look back on your former life and recall some of the
horrible events that took place, all the unpleasant experiences, all the adverse
circumstances, the hardships, persecutions, hunger, thirst, excessive cold and heat, all the needs that nipped at your heels, along with the sins
you committed and the wrong turns you made and the
trouble they caused, you were just trying to find your way here. All these things
are behind you now.” The people let out another deafening applause. “Your
Heavenly Father would not have accepted you without sending Me to die for your
sins. After the first sin you committed, you exempted yourself from this place, yet
here you are. My Father had mercy on you and was compassionate with this
promise: anyone who believes in
Me will not perish but has eternal life (Jn 3-16). He has accepted
you through Me, and He has formerly invited you to live here with Him and with
Me. “He didn’t want any
one of you thinking that you deserve to be here.
In fact, that is the reason your life began on earth under the curse, so when He invited you to
come here, you would
accept, knowing you were unworthy of such a gift. That is how
He wanted it. In this way He has skirted around the problem of pride. He doesn't
want anyone in His heaven thinking he deserves to be there. With an attitude of self-importance nobody can approach My Father, for
He doesn’t want anyone to get a big head in the eons to come and try to tell
Him what to do or offer unsolicited advice or tell Him He’s doing it
wrong. You are not a visitor of God’s heavenly kingdom; you are a full member,
fully accepted, but He set up the conditions of your sonship the way He
wanted it, the way He knows is best. The biggest problem is always pride. Look
at the extreme measures He took to deal with this problem, what He had to do to
completely nullify it. Nobody has a place for boasting (Rom 3-27); nobody can
brag about his achievements; the only thing any one of you has ever done was sin
against God. You served Him and accomplished great things in His name, but only
after He demonstrated His love toward you, in that while you were yet sinners
Christ died for you (Rom 5-8). “The kingdom that God is building is not based on what you have done for Him, but what He has done for you. That is how it started, and that is how it will proceed. He intends to work with you, and you will accomplish great things in His name, but you will not get the credit for anything you do, for without Him you can do nothing (Jn 15-5). Does God love you? He loves you with an everlasting love! Everything about Him is infinite and eternal, and that includes His love for you. He loves you for reasons of His own. His is the only love that is not based on need. You need Him, but does He need you? If He did, it is only to give you everything He has! He wants to shower His blessing on you in degrees that are currently incomprehensible to you, though you are sons of the Infinite. He has so much to give. You will be vessels of mercy (Rom 9-22,23), recipients of blessing beyond your wildest dreams. You have already learned that much is expected of you, things that He taught you in your former life; yet to the degree that He expects much from you, He intends to bestow much more on you. You have inherited all things; there is nothing He has withheld from you, not even His throne [Eph 2-6,7]; His arms are opened wide. "Do you
see the Father? I am the expression of Him, and you are expressions of Me. I am flesh and bone (Lk 24-39); the Holy Spirit is Spirit,
and the
Father consists of faith, pure faith. The Father exists because He knows He
does, and everything exists because of Him, and for this reason He requires
faith from you, ‘so that you may prove yourselves to be sons of your Father in
heaven’ (Mat 5-45). For the reason of His humility Lucifer tried to take His throne, because he didn’t
believe in My Father. The Father's very essence is faith, and the expression of
faith is love, and no one can conquer love. Many have surmised that God’s essence is pure energy, but there is a
person behind that energy, My Father and your Father. The works of His
hands are distinct from Him; therefore, He calls anyone an idolater who worships
the creation. “God is Spirit” (Jn 4-24), but He is more than that. The
Father made all things through faith, and that is His input in the trinity, and for
this reason He has called you
to faith.” The
angels served bread and wine at the long awaited communion, Jesus Himself
performed the ministry of angels. He asked His people if they remembered what
He said at the Last Supper, “I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I
suffer, for I tell you, I will no longer by any means eat of it until it is
fulfilled in God’s Kingdom” (Lk 22-15). "Today, this Scripture has been
fulfilled in your hearing" (Lk 4-21). There was another great applause. He
helped the angels serve those in attendance who were so blessed (Lk 12-37,38). Once the dinner was prepared, they all ate and drank together. Afterward, Jesus came and stood next
to each person and honored their service rendered and recounted their acts of
faith, so that all heard and saw the reason for receiving a shimmering crown (Jm
1-12).
Jesus ventured between the tables and around the chairs, greeting every person
by name, having them stand one at a time. Instead of having them give their
testimony, Jesus gave their testimony for them, telling everyone in attendance
what he or she did in His name, the victories they one, the souls they led to
Christ, their thankfulness and endurance they showed toward His name, bearing fruit in the midst
of turmoil, oppression and great resistance, demonstrating their faith to the
heathen in total disregard of their own lives. They believed in God and did
not deny His name. A great and mighty angel followed Jesus, pushing a cart with a basket, only big enough to hold one crown. Jesus reached into the basket and pulled out the crown and placed it on the honored persons head, saying, “Well done good and faithful servant;” and then He went to the next person and did the same, telling everyone in attendance the exploits she did in His name and how proud He is of her, then reached into the basket and pulled out another crown fashioned by the Father. This continued for thousands of years, until He reached the very last person, who was honored as much as the first. He told the people not only all the victories she had won but also all the handicaps she had overcome, which entered the equation of faithfulness, aided in determining the value of each person’s crown, for God considers the mitigating circumstances, knowing the extra burdens she was forced to bear through no fault of her own. Some were born with physical maladies, low IQs, poor health or emotional instability, yet she remained faithful to Christ as much as those who were not handicapped. He took all these things into consideration before placing a crown on her head, which helped determine how many gems should be in it and their value. Everyone had a turn, though there were millions in attendance, and the celebration had to be finished by the end of the Bowls of God’s fierce wrath on earth, which only lasted three to ten years. The Lord was in no rush but spent as much time with each person as necessary, so the Marriage Supper of the Lamb thousands of earth years. After interviewing every person in attendance, He asked if there were any questions, and thousands of people raised their hands, and he answered all their questions.
Nicolas
asked: “If the Bowls of God’s wrath lasted less than ten
years, and it was happening while we have been here celebrating, which has so far
lasted thousands of years, aren’t we late?” Jesus explained to him that he
was comparing time in the physical realm to time in the spiritual realm, that
the two are unrelated. “In fact, we can’t even talk about time in the
spiritual realm, because it doesn’t exist.” He continued, “Your heavenly
Father is outside the constraints of time; this is how He was able to judge each
person consecutively the moment he or she died, though hundreds may have come at
once. “God reviewed your whole life in real time, so if you lived sixty years,
your judgment took sixty years to complete, and He went over every aspect of
your life, separating faithfulness from unbelief, rewarding your faith and
tossing your disobedience into the pit of forgetfulness. No events are constrained
by time in the spiritual realm; God’s judgment occurs outside time, as did
this marriage celebration.” This was a hard notion for people to grasp, because
they were so used to the concept of linear time. The Lord explained to them, “Time is
a man-made idea, having no application here. We can spend as much time as we
want without worrying about being late. You can sit in your seats for thousands
of years and not get tired or bored, and you can maintain your attention the
whole time, because you have a spiritual body, and you live in a spiritual
place, and all your former weaknesses and limitations that you once knew are
gone.” Sarah
asked a question, “Lord will you elaborate more on our heavenly Father?" Jesus answered, “Just as man has a
body, soul and spirit, being made in the image of God, so God has three
dimensions. I am God in the form of a man, and you know about the Holy Spirit who lives in you, but there is one more aspect of
God that is distinct from the other two, the Father, for all three members of the trinity
are equidistant from each other and unique. Your heavenly Father consists of faith, and for this reason
God has called you to live and walk by faith in order to be His sons and
daughters (Mat 5-45); this will remain true forever. The Father, though He
consists of faith, is more substantive than the physical
universe, for it is by faith that He created it [Heb 11-3]. The Father exists because He knows He
does, and for this reason everything exists because of Him. If God were
skeptical of His own existence, He would cease to exist, and everything He
created would disappear.” God exists by faith, and everything exists through
Him." This was blowing people's minds. Jesus finished, “My explanation of the Father will never make
complete sense to you, but the longer you live and walk by faith, the more you
will accept your heavenly Father as I have described Him. There are many more
mysteries of God that lay in your path to discover in God’s time, and for this
you worship Him.” Jesus continued, “My spirit is the Holy Spirit, and as you
can see I have a body, but what about My soul? God made man to complete Me! You all collectively represent my soul,
because you are united. When all of
you come together as one, I inhabit your unity. I am in you and you are in Me
(Jn 17,21-23). I
am like you, and you are like Me, yet My divinity is in no way diminished as I
have infused my divinity in you (2Pet 1-4).” When
Jesus finished His dissertation, the entire assembly erupted with praise and
worship of God, and Jesus sat on His glorious throne next to His Father and
inhabited their unity. It was the first time from eternity past that Jesus felt
complete. He shared His completeness with His Father, and they reciprocated
their love, sweeping over the assembly with a wave of power, love and joy. God
was making love to His people and consummating the marriage (1Cor 6-16,17). Jesus inhabiting the unity of His people is akin to having sex with them, and to infuse His divinity is to impregnate them with Himself. God gave sex to man as a way of procreation, and it bears a close resemblance to Jesus inhabiting the unity of the Church, being one of the great mysteries of heaven, as it is written, “For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. This mystery is great; but I am speaking with reference to Christ and the Church” (Eph 5-31,32). Jesus is the husband and His people are the bride, the wife of the Lamb (Rev 21-9). When Jesus inhabits the unity of His people, the best analogy is the sexual union between a man and his wife. Therefore in man's old life, sex acted as a foreshadow of the marriage relationship between Christ and the Church. This intercourse that God has with His people is performed through unified worship. He inhabits our worship as a man goes into a woman. There is more satisfaction and intimacy and pleasure having spiritual intercourse with God than we ever had with our spouse in the physical union. As their worship intensified, the revelation of God filled His people with awe and majesty, and the people began to glow, each according to the reward they received at the judgment seat of Christ. Jesus shined like the sun, until the entire banquette was overtaken by light, and the voice of Father boomed overhead, “I now pronounce you man and wife.”
After these things Jesus addressed His people and asked, “Does any know why you are here?” There were a few answers, but they were inadequate. Jesus finally said, “I knew you before the foundation of the world and have chosen you to serve Me and worship My Father and obey My commandments, so that we together might create a kingdom that will never end, a kingdom that is both infinite and eternal. You need Me to intercede for you with the Father, and the Father needs you to help build Him a kingdom. I cannot do it alone; this is why you are here. You play an essential role in God’s plan; without you it couldn’t happen; this is how valuable you are to My Father. These cherubim and seraphim that stand at My Father's throne do not have as much authority as He has given to the least of you. They may be closer to Him in proximity, but you are closer to Him in Spirit and authority and freedom that He has given you to establish His kingdom. As God entrusted you with the gospel in your former life, so He will entrust you with so much more. No other created being will ever have more authority than you; this is how great God has made you, and this is how important you are to God and to His kingdom. “You are greater than the angels; they are your servants; they will do your bidding, whatever you ask; their power is in your hands. They existed before you, and in heaven what is first is honored more than what comes after it, though they have taken a lesser position to better serve you and have allowed you to advance ahead of them, and for this reason they have more honor than you, but you have more authority. I am the head and you are My body, and I will oversee your ministry. Together we will create something that will please the Father in ways you will never fully understand. He will pour his love on you, and you will disseminate God’s love throughout His kingdom. “You have been made in the image of God; you were purified, awarded
gifts, tested and found faithful; and one day you will
work with God to shape worlds in ways that seem best to you. You will always remember
that I have pulled you from the mire of sin, but you were humble enough to
believe in Me and serve Me when those around you would not. You will forever
remember the lessons you learned in your former lives, and they will guide you
in paths of righteousness and lead you to make right decisions. When it appears
that the creation is being torn apart at the seams, you will trust God and He will
make all things right. You are a fledgling people. Your former life will act as
your childhood, a critical period that will influence you billions of years into
the future. You will
forever draw from your former experiences; you will never forget them; they are hardwired into your soul. Together we will establish a kingdom based on
God’s principles of truth, righteousness and love, and it will survive the
test of eternity.” |
